We’ve got answers brought to you by Kin’s women’s health experts.
Studies have shown Affron® (Saffron) can help alleviate symptoms of stress, frustration and tension, as well as help maintain positive mood.5 Saffron has also been shown to improve overall sleep quality, which plays a huge role in our stress levels and mood. Interestingly, Affron® (Saffron) has also been trialled with perimenopausal women and results suggest it helps with psychological symptoms of hormonal fluctuations as well as improving hot flashes and sweating.
There are many natural herbs used for symptoms of mild anxiety you may have already heard of like lavender, lemon balm and valerian root. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal) is a key player, used for years in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to help our bodies adapt to stress. It has the studies to back it up too, with findings showing it helps alleviate symptoms of stress and anxiety as well as improvement of depressive symptoms.5 Saffron is also clinically-backed in treating symptoms of stress and mild anxiety, which is why our formula contains both of these potent herbs.
We’ve specifically chosen ingredients used in both Ayurvedic and Western medicine that work in tandem to relieve symptoms of mild anxiety. These ingredients are also bioavailable, which means they can be easily sorbed and used by the body. Our formula contains Affron®, a multi-award winning form of saffron that’s clinically shown to help with symptoms of mild anxiety and promote a balanced mood.6 Both Ashwagandha and Rhodiola can help the body adapt to stress while relieving feelings of malaise (general emotional flatness).
Yes! Our specialised blend of ingredients can help promote a positive mood, as well as relieve feelings of general malaise and depressive symptoms.
Nope—our formula is a curated blend of ingredients used in both traditional Ayurvedic and Western medicine to help relieve stress 100% naturally. This supplement is safe to take every day and won’t cause drowsiness.
Our vitamin contains natural ingredients that while clinically-proven to reduce symptoms of mild anxiety, is not a replacement for treatment of severe anxiety disorders. It can be used to supplement treatments such as therapy or meditation. If you are feeling distressed or unsafe please reach out to a healthcare professional.
We designed our vitamins to easily fit into your routine by making them as small as we can while still maintaining concentrated dosages. We know swallowing tablets isn’t always easy, so we’ve included a score line in the middle of The Ultra Calm tablets so you can break the tablet in half to take it in smaller parts. If you have trouble swallowing vitamins, take them with plenty of water or some food, and lean forward lean forward slightly when swallowing.
We have designed our supplements with people taking the contraceptive pill in mind. However, we recommend consulting a health professional who can make a full assessment on the suitability of specific supplements based on your individual medical information, including other medications you are taking.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please seek advice from a health professional, especially if you plan to take multiple supplements together.
Please consult a healthcare professional before taking multiple supplements together (Kin or other brands) to confirm you are not exceeding the recommended daily intakes of any ingredient, and to assess any interactions with medications you may be taking.
These formulas are designed for adults only. Please consult a health professional if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication or other supplements, or have an existing medical condition.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or plan to take multiple supplements together, please seek advice from a health professional on whether the supplements will be suitable for your individual needs.
