The Peri Bottle

Takes the sting out of Postpartum pee

It's true – the first few toilet trips can be painful. Wiping is a no-no while you heal, so spritz instead.

The Peri Bottle is ergonomically designed to delicately clean your vagina without painful pressure. The upside-down, angled spout directs water to stinging areas and means you can avoid the dreaded hand-in-toilet situation.

Mix the Healing Foam with warm water in the Peri Bottle for an effective healing cleanser for the perineum or C-section incision.

Why we made this

Delivering a baby is a superhuman effort, but every hero needs a sidekick. For you, that’s us.

We’re here to support you through every step of your pregnancy journey. That means caring for you immediately after you give birth — when you need it most.

The Peri Bottle is a portable bidet that dilutes the stinging effect of urine on your sore or stitched perineum.

We created a precise, angled spout so you only spritz the areas that need it, including C-section incisions.

You can take the Peri Bottle everywhere you go without a worry. It's leak-proof and packed discreetly in a waterproof bag.

Tears

85-90% of first-time mums will experience tearing as the baby's head squeezes through. Stitches are often required. [1]

Soreness

Aches and pain after delivery can linger for days or weeks.

Swelling

A common response to the goings-on down there. Swelling will ease within a few months.

Itching

Healing scars around the vagina can be a little itchy. This is easily relieved.

Haemorrhoids

Veins in the rectum can become swollen and sore after pushing. Haemorrhoids affect around 43% of women after birth. [2]

Ask us anything

Seriously, our experts have all the answers.

Do you need the Peri Bottle after a C-section?

If you go through labour before your C-section, your perineum may still become swollen and sensitive. Passing gas or doing a number two can be difficult and straining will likely aggravate your incision and sore abdomen.

If your C-section was planned, the location of your incision makes bending over to cleanse your vag and bottom difficult. An upside-down Peri Bottle helps you clean up without bending too far to reach down there. Plus, you can use it to clean your incision to avoid infecting of the wound.

How much can the Peri Bottle hold?

How do I use the Peri Bottle?

Fill the Peri Bottle with warm water and spray on affected areas as needed.
Pro tip: Mix your water with our Witch Hazel Healing Foam for added relief.

How do I know when to call my doctor?

It’s normal to experience some pain and discomfort while you recover from delivery, and it’s a good idea to ask your doctor or midwife about what you can expect. Postpartum symptoms tend to improve each day, but if you find your symptoms are worsening, then give your doctor a call.
