Questions?
We’ve got answers brought to you by Kin’s women’s health experts.
Nope! The Daily Essentials contains Omega-3 DHA & EPA conveniently packed into the one capsule. We use high quality fish oil refined in Norway that meets strict sustainability standards as well as ensuring there’s no fishy aftertaste.
It may surprise you, but yes! It’s estimated around 1 in 4 Australians are Vitamin D deficient5, and this key vitamin plays a big role in bone health, mood, energy and overall immunity.
It’s true that folate is extra important during periods of growth (like pregnancy and fetal development, as well as for childhood growth) but it’s also a key vitamin for all adults.7 Folate helps to form DNA and RNA and is involved in protein metabolism and is the natural form of vitamin B9, water-soluble and naturally found in many foods. Our formulation uses a better form of folate, Levomefolic acid, for optimum nutrient absorption.
Iodine is needed to make essential thyroid hormones. These are used by the body for energy use. Iodine is found naturally in foods like dairy products, seafood, seaweed (kelp) and green leafy vegetables. Iodine deficiency can lead to constant tiredness, muscle weakness and difficulty learning and remembering.
We recommend consulting a health professional who can make a full assessment on the suitability of specific supplements based on your individual medical information, including other medications you are taking.
If you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, please seek advice from a health professional, especially if you plan to take multiple supplements together such as The Prenatal.
We recommend consulting a healthcare professional before taking multiple supplements together (Kin or other brands) to confirm you are not exceeding the recommended daily intakes of any ingredient, and to assess any interactions with medications you may be taking.
These formulas are designed for adults only. Please consult a healthcare professional if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication or other supplements, or have an existing medical condition.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or plan to take multiple supplements together, please seek advice from a healthcare professional on whether the supplements will be suitable for your individual needs. The main concern with combining The Daily Essentials with other supplements is whether the combination of ingredients (such as Iron and Magnesium) exceed the respective recommended daily intakes which is why it’s advised that before mixing supplements, you seek advice from your preferred health professional.
These are made in Sydney, Australia.
